Saw this quite nice G-1 (MIL-J-7823 (AER) in size 44 on eBay. Beside the condition stood out. The name tag on the jacket says "LEO P. GEARY, BRIGADIER GENERAL, USAF" (all caps). I have never seen an Air Force officer wear a U.S. Navy/Marine/Coast Guard G-1 nor have I heard of one being issued to Army or Air Force personnel. What I can find out about him shows no interaction with Navy or Marine Corps units. Has anyone here run across this?
